not really sure if this thread falls under airports. the other possible place was under airline governing laws but it was more of international laws.
anyways. we all know that in most tickets booked online locally, we have to pay travel tax at the airports, which is quite irritating because it adds another step and another line at the airport. typical of any government office napakabagal and it takes too long of a time at the airport. pwede naman single line, pay na lang (with a POS machine like a cash register) with no questions asked, tanggap lang ng tanggap ng bayad. but no, they have to manually write the receipts multiple copies, kunin muna nila passports and check, no one knows what they actually check. It's like enrolling in UP or any government school - sobrang hassle! another analogy - its like buying a single DVD blank disk sa CDR king. isang disk lang, pila to get your number, pila to get to talk to a sales lady, pila to get the pay for the product and another pila for it to be released! dapat you go to the line you give your P1750 tapos, finish.
Also, after passing immigration at the terminal 3 before the final xray and body check may security guard pa na lalapit sa iyo to check kung natatakan na ang passport ng immigration, huh! galing ka na nga sa immigration, of course natatakan. kapa pa nya nagalit siya coz yung boarding pass hindi nakaipit sa exact page na nakatatak yung departure stamp ng immigration. only in he philippines!
