Filed Under: Transport, Air Transport, business MANILA, Philippines – There are three possible players that may enter the local airline industry, Tourism Secretary Alberto Lim said Thursday, according to a report on Radyo Inquirer.
Lim said the possible entry of these new players was in line with the open skies policy of the Aquino administration, according to the report.
Quoting Lim, the report identified the three as All Nippon Airways, Jin Air from South Korea, and Air Asia, described as one of the biggest budget airline company.
But Lim also said that even if the government was decided on enforcing this policy, it has yet to be finalized, according to the report.

Quite confusing too. I know Air Asia Philippines will be entering the local market. Maybe they are just taking the word of Alberto Lim literally.
Gosh, Alberto Lim is all out with open skies without even coming up with new tourism campaigns both locally and internationally. Goes the same way for PNoy's priorities. Open skies without addressing first cat 2 and EU ban

Again, they're loosing focus. I mean address first the issues that needs to be addressed before diving into another topic to be concerned about. Parang hindi naman direct result ata to ng Open Skies. Correct me if I'm wrong. pero parang way before they announced it, I think some of the airlines has already made their intent of operating here. It's in the matter of re wording the facts I guess to make it work in your favor.
