Just wondering...why no Philippine carrier is ordering E-Jets?

I think our airports are either too small for E-jets and sa trunk airports kukulangin naman ang E-jets sa capacity. A319 na ang smallest. Baka rin mahal compared sa Airbus at walang maintenance provider ata dito? Karamihan Airbus at Boeing.

I think so...but at least we do get E-Jets coming to MNL (ex. Mandarin Airlines from Taiwan). In the past Hong Kong Express used to operate HKG-LAO with its E170 (now operated by Kenya Airways).

Maybe the price tag of A320/319/318 is not far from the E-jets. Plus, we have lots of training facilities, maintenance facilities, and pilots for A320s, so expense would not be as high as starting all over again to E-jets. Though I think this would be a good alternative to serve smaller airports, unless the length of the runway would not be able to take an E-jet at MTOW.
