PAL to use 777-300ER to YVR Starting March

If you have plans to go to Canada, please make sure to get PR116/117 as the aircraft to be used are the Tripple 7s! At long last, this bird will fly the distance it was intended to fly to! I just checked PAL's schedule and it shows YVR will be served via 777-300ER via PR116 and 117 return. PR106/107 will still utilize the A340s.

Finally these jets get to flex their wings across the Pacific! This could be a good thing for our kababayans and to tourists on the RP-CAN routes!

It will be good for PAL as the 77W carries more passengers than the A340 plus, the former are more fuel efficient than the latter.

Yes and the spacious cabin might entice more to fly direct rather than say fly via HKG or Seoul.
