Here's a group from the UK restoring the last Trident 1C. www.savethetrident.org/2010/12/winter-trident-land/I'm not sure if this could be a right forum for this, but I do hope someone could do the same thing with our old planes here in Manila. I haven't heard a single individual/group that made an intent on restoring our old props here. We have a rich treasure trove in our own backyard from F.27s, DC-3s, HS 748s, YS-11s, to a Constellation even to name a few. Maybe there could be a restored HS748 which would be restored to look like the PAL 748s from the 60s. Sadly either some of them are being bought and taken to foreign countries, like one of the few remaining serviceable DC-3(CX), or being scrapped (DC-9s of 5J, B732 of 2P and the old PAF F-27s which some even served with PR). It's a shame if we would just let them rot instead of being in a them being in a museum. Hoping some of these planes would be preserved.

The PAF YS-11 is now at the PAF Museum. I pitty the classic ones like the Constellation at the junk yard. Its so nice to repair them. What I would want to see restored too is a BAC-111 and perhaps, a Short SC turboprop aka "Sunriser".

Meron pa ba? I do hope the Constellations gets to be saved. Nanghinayang ako sa DC-3 na napunta sa CX at yung Club 707.

I only saw one. When you fly APX, 5J or Z2, sit at the right side of the aircraft. You would see the Constellation before you take off.

There are even more classic aircrafts now being left at junk. So nice to restore them.
